The sails, cut in radial widths, guarantee maximum strength and excellent tension, essential factors for optimum performance whatever the wind characteristics. The material reveals the affinity with the marine world that is characteristic of all Corradi deck sails. Maestrale is produced using nautical technology that retains its mechanisms, functionality and aesthetics.
The sail tensioning system is particularly innovative. A spring built into the tensioning poles is activated by a hoist, a rope and pulley system commonly used on boats, accessible through an opening in the pole. By tensioning the spring, the hoist supports the weight of the sail. The position of the spring inside the pole offers safety advantages, allowing the sail to rise or fall in strong winds.
